Donald D. Knox age 91 of Champion passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday Dec. 28, 2025 at St. Joseph Eastland Hospital in Warren. He was born on Nov. 24, 1934 in Confluence, PA the son of the late John E. Knox and Margaret (Peck) Knox. Don had lived in Warren since 1953 formerly of Confluence, PA. He worked as a Tinner at Packard Electric for 42 years retiring in 1995. Don married the love of his life, Phyllis Ann Glotfelty on Sept. 25, 1954 and they enjoyed 71 years of marriage together. He was a long time member of the Lordstown Lutheran Church and loved to go fishing, his cars, woodworking, and being around his great grandchildren. Don is preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sisters: Shirley Benford & Phyllis.

He is survived by: his wife: Phyllis A. Knox of Champion, 1 daughter: Brenda & John Lansdowne of East Palestine, OH, 1 son: Keith & Michelle Knox of Lordstown, 1 sister: Carol Runge of Bridgeport, CT, 1 brother: Gene & Kitty Knox of Warren, 6 grandchildren: Jordan, Candice, Dawnelle, Lindsey, Tiffany, Brandon, and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the Lordstown Lutheran Church on Monday Jan. 5, 2026 at 5:30 pm with Rev. Steve Brown officiating. Calling hours will be from 4:30- 5:30pm at the church. Cremation will follow the services. Donald will be laid to rest at Addison Cemetery in Addison, PA. The family has requested that all donations please be made to the Lordstown Lutheran Church 5615 Palmyra Rd. SW Warren, OH 44481 in his memory.
