Donald Francis Orr Sr., 72 of North Jackson passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Select Speciality Care - St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. He was born on August 22, 1941 in Shirley, WV, the son of the late Lonnie & Esta (Wright) Orr. Donald has lived in North Jackson for the past 20 years, formerly of Newton Falls. Donald married the former Margaret Riendsliesh on March 4, 1978. They were blessed with 25 years of marriage before her passing on December 16, 2003. Donald retired in 2004 after 30 years in assembly at General Motors in Lordstown. He was a member of the U.A.W. 1112. Donald enjoyed hunting, camping, going to flea markets, Dodge trucks and tinkering with automobiles. Loving memories of Donald will be carried on by his son, Donald Francis Orr Jr, of North Jackson and his 4 grandchildren, Joseph, Kayla, Kassandra and Kara Orr. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Margaret, 1 sister Mary Underwood and 1 brother James Orr. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. Donald will be laid to rest beside his wife Margaret at Shirley Cemetery in Shirley, WV where a graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 4 at 1:00 pm.
