Donnabelle Collins, age 90 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Donnabelle was born on June 28, 1925 in Newton Falls, the daughter of Frank & Lillie (Bricker) Collins. Donnabelle has lived in Newton Falls her entire life. Donnabelle graduated from Newton Falls High School and went on to attend the Syracuse University School of Library Science. Donnabelle retired in July 1991 after 47 years as a cataloger with the Newton Falls Public Library. She was a member of the First Christian Church where she was a past Elder, Deaconess and taught Sunday School. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary. Loving memories of Donnabelle will be carried on by her cousins, Georgia Debolt of Newton Falls. Thomas Kline of Newton Falls, Raymond Kline of Cortland, a good friend and her neighbors, Bonnie & Mike Glee. Donnabelle was preceeded in death by her parents and 2 aunts, Leah Reid and Viola Stone. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm. Donnabelle will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery beside her parents. Donnabelle's family would like to give special thanks to her doctor, Dr. Sabhash Khaterpaul, the staff and nurses on the 4th floor at Trumbull Memorial Hospital and Peggy and staff at Allan Dell Assisted Living.
