Doris E. (Rapczak) Kohut, age 86 of Southington passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Friday Feb. 18, 2011 at St. Joseph Eastland Hospital. She was born on Sept. 6, 1924 in Petworthle, England the daughter of Frederick Stillwell and Emily J. (Barrnett) Stillwell. Doris married Julius A. Rapczak on April 24, 1943 and he passed away after 33 yrs of marriage on Dec. 28, 1976. Doris then married Frank Kohut on May 4, 1989, and he passed away in 1997. Doris has lived in Newton Falls since 1946 , formerly of England. She worked as cafeteria employee at General Motors Cafe for 2 yrs retiring in 1978. She served with British Intelligence during WWII. She was a member of the British War Brides Club in Warren. Doris loved gardening, dancing, and watching the birds in her garden. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Julius, second husband Frank, 3 brothers Frederick, Raymond, and Reginald Stillwell, 1 daughter Yvonne (Kandel) Warmuth, and two great grandchildren Dakota Wargo and Ashley Sallaz. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Mo nday from 6-8 pm. Doris will be laid to rest next to her first husband Julius in Newton Falls Cemetery.
