Dorothy Jean Carson, age 89 of Vienna entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Youngstown. She was born on February 2, 1927 in Pricetown, OH the daughter of the late Clyde & Helen (Besse) Williams. Dorothy has lived in Vienna for the past 5 years, formerly of Lake Milton. Dorothy married James E. Carson Sr. on February 22, 1946. Dorothy and James were blessed with 50 wonderful years of marriage before his passing on June 13, 1996. Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting. Loving memories of Dorothy will be carried on by her daughters; Dale Lee Carson of Phoenix, AZ, Patricia Hopper of Vienna, Billie Rae (Steve) McCoy of Seymour, MO, her sons; John E. (Regina) Carson Sr. of Austintown, James E. (Robin) Carson Jr. of Austintown, sister; Ruth Shambach of Pricetown, OH 19 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, James, sisters; Betty Martin and Mary Jane Lay. Calling hours will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Friday Aug 12, 2016 from 6:00-7:00pm. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7:00pm. Cremation will take place after the funeral services. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Vaughn Cemetery in Lake Milton, OH.
