Dorothy Eileen Conner, age 95 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Laurie Ann Nursing Home of natural causes. Dorothy was born on January 7, 1916 in Strasburg, OH the daughter of the late Robert Clarence and Anna (Saam) Ridgway and was sister to Robert D. Ridgway. She married the love of her life Lowell Earl Conner on June 1, 1941 who passed away after 45 years of marriage on Oct. 21, 1986. Dorothy has lived most of her wonderful 95 yrs in Newton Falls. She was a Student Accounts Clerk for the Newton Falls School System for 21 years retiring in 1981. She was a member of the Newton Falls Indians Horseback Riding Club, Newton Falls United Methodist Church, Newton Falls High School Crescendo Club, Trumbull Canoe Trails, Western Reserve Carriage Assocation, Ohio North Coast Jitterbug Connection, Classmates Reunion Committee and was a Campfire Girl Leader. Memories of Dorothy will be cherished by two daughters & family, Patricia A. Hall & David H. Kamerer of Phalanx Mills, OH, L. Darleen & Dennis Lewis of Stow, OH, grandchildren, Tom Hall, Dave Lewis, Darcy Lewis Meadows and great-grandchildren, Tommy Hall Jr., Karrington Hall, Lauren Meadows, and Jack Meadows. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
