Dorothy M. Viney, age 82, of Newton Falls, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Gillette nursing home, Warren. She was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania on January 11, 1944; the daughter of Glenn and Vivian (Henneman) Muckle.

A lifetime area resident, Dorothy graduated from Chalker High School in Southington. She attended the First Church of God in Newton Falls. She married her late husband, Gary G. Viney on November 7, 1971; Together they shared 31 years of marriage until his passing on October 24, 2003.

She is survived by her three children; Robert (Amy) Beatty of Bulverde, TX, Wendy (Joe) Rojas of Montgomery, TX and Tamara (Brandon) McKinstry of Brookfield; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Gary; a brother, Glenn "Bud" Muckle and two sisters; Charlotte Kiepper and Maxine Sheldon.

According to Dorothy's wishes, cremation will take place and calling hours will be on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the First Church of God in Newton Falls, where a memorial service will be held at11:00am at the church.
