Dorothy M. Ziegler, age 86 of Braceville entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 26, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born on August 20, 1930 in Newton Twp., the daughter of the late John & Mary (Chentka) Kolacz. She has lived in Braceville for the past 60 years, formerly of Newton Falls. Dorothy graduated from Newton Falls High School and was a member of the Braceville United Methodist Church. Dorothy was a member of the Braceville Garden Club and the Golden Voyagers. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, traveling and most of all, spending time with her family. On November 14, 1952 Dorothy married Rodney "Pete" Ziegler. Dorothy and Pete were blessed with 37 years of marriage before his passing on September 1, 1990. Loving memories of Dorothy will be carried on by her daughters; Colleen (Doug) Veits of Braceville, Mary Goodwill of Braceville, her sons; Kent (Pam) Ziegler of Newton Falls, Jim Ziegler of Braceville, her brother, Ted Kolacz of Newton Falls, 3 grandchildren; Brian, David (Alisha) and Marie and 4 great grandchildren; Megan, Adam, Katie and Harmony. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers; Stanley, Joe Ed and her sister Helen Woloski. Per Dorothy's wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends Wednesday May 31, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at James Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 pm. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Burial Park.
