Douglas Vernon Shaulis, age 51, of Newton Falls, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital of natural causes. On August 14, 1960 in Warren, Ray Thomas & Ruby Irene (DeBolt) Shaulis were blessed with the birth of their son, Douglas. Douglas had lived in Newton Falls all his life graduating from Newton Falls High School in 1978. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR. Loving memories of Douglas will be carried on by; his father Tom Shaulis of Newton Falls; his daughter Amber Shaulis of Newton Falls; his 3 sisters Debbie Shaulis of Mercer, PA, Doreen & Rob Lutz, Diette & Jim Cariglio all of Newton Falls; 4 grandchildren; 1 nephew; 3 nieces; 3 great nephews; and 1 great niece. Douglas was preceded in death by his mother Ruby Shaulis; grandparents William & Florence Shaulis and George & Goldie DeBolt. A private service will be held at a later date.
