Dustin S. Coakley, age 38, formerly of Windham, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, July 26, 2025, at UH Geauga Medical Center in Chardon due to an automobile accident. He was born on Sept. 30, 1986 in Warren, OH, the son of Robert D. Coakley and Stacy L. Brown. Dustin lived in Warren for the last 5 years, formerly of Windham, where he graduated from Windham High School in the Class of 2004. He worked as a self-employed driver of the Amish for the last 3 years. He was also a self-employed construction worker. Dustin loved the outdoors, fishing, watching basketball and football, camping, playing cards, 4 wheeling, and sitting around bonfires.

He is preceded in death by his father: Robert Coakley, stepsister: Jennifer Boone, stepfather: Gregory Hammonds, and grandfathers: Donald C. Brown and Bill Edward Coakley, Sr.

Dustin is survived by: his mother, Stacy Brown of Windham, 3 daughters: McKenna Alai of Garrettsville, Audrina Smith of Brookfield, and Isabella Coakley of Warren, 1 son: Lincoln Coakley of Garrettsville, 3 brothers: Travis (Autumn) Hammonds of Newton Falls, Brett (Ciara) Hammonds of Scott AFB, IL, Stephen (Jessika) Kacenski of Ramstein AFB, Germany, Stepmother: Sharon Boone of Champion, sister: Lindsey (Fred) Ritter of Niles, stepsister: Lisa Boone of Champion, stepbrother: Robert Boone of Warren, many nieces and nephews, and special uncle: Scott (Tracy) Brown of Newton Falls, grandparents: George and Deborah Wisneski of Howland, Jerry and Loretta Calvert of Pooler, GA, and great grandmother: Ruby Dailey of Warren.

Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Friday, Aug 1, 2025, at 11:00am with Pastor Jennifer Dorn officiating.  Calling hours will be on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 6:00- 8:00 pm at the funeral home.  He will be laid to rest at Windham Twp. Cemetery in Windham, OH.
