Edgar William Pierson, age 75, of Warren passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Edgar was born on September 14, 1940, the son of the late Edgar Axel Pierson & Virginia Mae (Starkey) Pierson. After graduating Edgar married his loving wife Beverly Jean Jose on October 20, 1958 and they moved to Warren where they raised their family. He worked as a machine repairman at Republic Steel, later working as a maintenance Foreman at Delphi retiring in 2001. Edgar enjoyed woodworking, making furniture, building cabinets, going to the casinos, playing poker at home and watching baseball & football. Edgar's memories will be cherished by his loving family; his daughters Jacqueline Fridley and her companion Bryan Ward of Newton Falls, Rebecca L. & Brian Luoma of Niles, Melany A. & Charles Aston of Champion; his son Edgar T. Pierson of Warren; his grandchildren Paul Fridley & (Charlene Pascute) of Howland, Laura Luoma of Niles, Scott Aston of Champion; and 4 great-grandchildren. Edgar is preceeded in death by his parents, his wife Beverly, his half brother Jack Pierson and his half sister Ruth Ann Korte. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 5 to 7PM at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 7PM at the funeral home. Edgar will be laid to rest next to his wife in Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.
