Edith Dean, age 77 of Braceville passed away peacefully into eternal rest on December 27, 2011. She was born on Nov. 25, 1934 in East Lynn, WV the daughter of the late Frank Enslow and Birdie (Finley) Hazelett. Edith married the love of her life, Cecil Dean on December 31, 1956 and he passed away after 33 years of marriage on May 13, 1990. She has lived in Braceville since 1991, but formerly of Parma and Cleveland. She was a member of the Berea Baptist Church in Cleveland while living in Cleveland. Some of the things that she loved to do were bowling, fishing, watching Nascar, watching the Cleveland Indians on TV, and enjoying her family. Memories of Edith will be carried on by her loving family: three daughters: Pamela Tokay of Braceville, Marsha Dean of Braceville, Mona Dean of South Milwaukee, WI, four sons: Randall Steele of Victorville, CA, Cecil Dean Jr. (Deceased), Frank Dean of Niles, Jeffery Dean of Warren, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 5 great - great grandchildren. Edith is preceded in death by her husband Cecil, her son, 3 sisters, 4 brothers, 1 grandchild. Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Friday Dec. 30, 2011 at 11:00 am with Pastor Joseph Wetzl officiating. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Edith will be laid to rest next to her husband Cecil at West Park Cemetery in Cleveland.
