Elaine Veronica Lawrence, age 82 formerly of Ravenna passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Monday Nov. 24, 2025 at her residence. She was born on October 31, 1943 in Youngstown, OH the daughter of Andrew Cvercko and Ann Agnes (Topolosky) Ripple. Elaine married the love of her life Ronald Ralph Lawrence on November 6, 1964 and they enjoyed 52 years of marriage together until his death June 7, 2017. They have lived in Ravenna for 50 years, formerly of Vienna, OH. Elaine has worked at many places, but her last place of employment was Little Tikes in Hudson where she worked in the secondary department for 5 1/2 years retiring in 1994. Elaine and her husband were members of the Deaf Outreach Church in North Canton. She loved spending time with her friends, crocheting, traveling and singing in her church choir. Elaine is preceded in death by her mother Ann Ripple, her father: Andrew Cvercko, and 1 daughter in law: Lisa Lawrence, 1 brother in law: Robert Lawrence.

She is survived by: 1 daughter: Noelle Lawrence of New Orleans, 2 sons: Jerry & Amanda Lawrence of Windham, Jeff & Dawn Lawrence of Nelson Twp, OH, 2 sisters: June Stewart of Hyannis, MA, Janet King of Cortland, 1 brother: Andrew & Olga Cvercko Jr. of Melbourne Beach, FL, 8 grandchildren: Tanner ( Cailey) ,Joshua, Guy, Makenna( Brock)Kaeferle , Nic, Emma, Jeremie and Emme- Kate, 2 great grandchildren River and Collin, and a great granddaughter arriving soon.

Per Elaine's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the James Funeral Home in New ton Falls on Saturday Dec. 6, 2025 at 12:00pm with Pastor Darwin Smith officiating the service. The family will receive friends for calling hours from 10:00- 12:00pm. The family has requested that all donations please be made to the Deaf Outreach Church 2200 Greensburg Road North Canton, OH 44720 in memory of Elaine Lawrence.
