Elizabeth Ann Kezele, age 90 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal life on Saturday Morning Oct. 18, 2014 at the Windsor House Nursing Home in Champion. She was born on Feb. 23, 1924 in Alliance, OH the daughter of the late John Santo and Mary (Achsun) Santo. The family relocated to Newton Falls when Elizabeth was a child and she obtained her formal education in the Newton Falls Schools graduating in 1942. She married the love of her life, Jack Kezele, on January 7, 1946 and he passed away on March 15, 2008. Elizabeth worked at Colvins Nursing Home as a cook and nurses aid. She also worked for the US Government from 1943 to 1945 doing certificates for tires. Elizabeth loved crocheting, listening to music of all kinds, bowling, cooking, baking, playing bingo, and watching TV. Memories of Elizabeth will be carried on by her loving family, her daughters & son-in-laws Kathy & James Lewis of Newton Falls, Rosemary & Ronald Domyanich of Leavittsburg, Diana Kurtz of Roaming Shores, OH; her sons John F. Kezele of Newton Falls, Thomas & Rebecca Kezele of Eugene, OR; her sister Margaret Leigh of St. George,UT; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 sisters: Maryanne Poyant and Kathryn Jackson, and 1 brother: John Santo. The family has requested that all donations go to the St. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church 131 West Quarry Street Newton Falls, OH 44444 in memory of Elizabeth Kezele. Calling hours will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Tuesday Oct 21, 2014 from 5:00 - 7:00pm. A short prayer service will be at the funeral home on Wednesday Oct. 22, 2014 at 11:00 am and a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at the St. Mary & St Joseph Catholic Church in Newton Falls with Father Thomas Ungashick officiating the service. Elizabeth will be laid to rest next to her husband Jack at St. Joseph Cemetery in Newton Falls.
