Elsie Culver, age 83 of Youngstown passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. She was born on October 14, 1931, in Hubbard, OH the daughter of the late Walter E. & Lula (Hamlin) Marshall. Elsie has lived in Youngstown for over 30 years formerly of Gustavus. Memories of Elsie will be carried on by her family; her daughter, Janet Culver of PA, her son, Jimmy Culver, of Oil City, PA; her sister, Carol Keen of NC, her brothers, John (Margaret) Marshall of Champion, William (Betty) Marshall of Bristolville, and Grant Marshall of Erie, PA. Elsie is preceeded in death by one son, John Culver, 4 sisters, Charlotte Mahan, Irene Marshall, Ora Greenfield, Lillian Seem and two brothers, Richard & Walter Marshall. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm. Elsie will be laid to rest at Gustavus Northview Cemetery.
