Esther E. Jones, age 90 entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Community Skilled Nursing Home. Esther was born in Bradford, PA on April 6, 1920, the daughter of George & Daisy Mae (Anthony) Wilkinson. She has lived in Leavittsburg since 1957, formerly of Braceville. Esther married James Jones on June 22, 1943. Esther and James were married for 61 years before his passing on September 9, 2004. Esther was a member and former Deaconis of the First Community Church of Leavittsburg. She was a homemaker and she sold Avon for 15 years. Besides being a mother, two of Esther's greatest accomplishments was being a colon cancer and breast cancer survivor. She was a wonderful cake decorator, enjoyed crocheting, reading and loved her cats, Bailey & Domino. Most of all, she was proud to be a mother and grandmother. Esther cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loving memories of Esther will be carried on by her children, Esther M. & Al Rozzi of Bonita Springs, FL, Penny L. Iser of Leavittsburg, Jerry E. & Brenda Jones of Champion, Tom R. & Pandora Jones of Sarasota, FL and Tammy A. Jones of Leavittsburg, 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and her sisters, Lois Channel of Newton Falls and Margerat Nagle of Ashtabula. Esther was preceeded in death by her husband, James Jones, her daughter, Georgetta Sue Jones and her siblings, Harry Anthony, Jean Myers, and June Lobring. Friends and family may call from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
