Obituary

Frances Mae Napolitano, age 66, of Newton Falls passed away peacefully on Friday, July 19, 2013, at Washington Square Nursing Home in Warren after a long battle with cancer. Frances was born on January 21, 1947 in Warren, the daughter of Paul & Mae Elois (Anthony) Channel. She has lived in Newton Falls her entire life. Frances married John James Napolitano on September 23, 1967. They were married for 45 wonderful years until his passing on November 18, 2012. She was employed as a packer in the shipping department at Packard Electric for 31 years, retiring in 1996. Frances was a member of the Project Linus Quilting Club. She has made over 250 quilts, shipping them all over the world. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, and bingo. Frances was an avid bowler and enjoyed trips to Mountaineer. Loving memories of Frances will be carried on by her daughter, Dawn Hurst of Deerfield, her son, Seth Napolitano of Warren, her mother, Mae Elois Channel of Newton Twp., grandchildren, Toni Napolitano, Samantha Hurst, Aaron Hurst and her great-grandchildren, Skylar Bradley, Aaliya Brewer, Sophia Hurst and her brother & sister-in-law, Coleman & Karen Channel of Matthews, NC. Frances was preceded in death by her father, her husband and a grandson, Bryan Andrew Hurst. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 5:00 - 6:00 pm at James Funeral Home where funeral services will immediately follow at 6:00 pm. Rev. Calvin Mason will officiate.
