Francis Jay Oller, age 76, of Newton Falls passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at St. Joseph's Eastland due to complications from surgery. He was born on March 9, 1938 in Warren, the son of the late Clyde E. Oller and Ila Rose (Powell) Oller. Francis married the love of his life, Linda J. Stone on June 28, 1975 and enjoyed 39 years of marriage together. He has lived in Newton Falls his entire life, and was a faithful member of the Newton Falls First Church of God for many years. Francis worked at Rockwell International for many years until it shutdown in 1979, then he worked at Thermatex in Newton Falls for 21 years until his retirement in 2000. He loved walking, camping, making things out of wood, working on his cars and lawn mowers in his garage, going to Cooks Forest in PA, and especially spending time with his family. Francis is preceded in death by his parents, 1 infant daughter: Darlene Oller, and 1 brother: Paul E. Oller, He is survived by: His wife: Linda J. Oller of Newton Falls, 4 sons: William & Bonnie Oller of Warren, Edward W. Oller of Warren, Jimmy & Penny Oller of Newton Falls, Kevin E. Oller of Warren, 5 sisters: Helen Smith of Saxton, PA, Anna & Kerry Sheesley of Warren, Rosalyn & Jerry Reynolds of Eaton, OH, Jean & Fred Dixon of Warren, Harriet Daugherty of Apollo, PA, 2 brothers: Eugene & Carolyn Oller of Leavittsburg, OH, Lee (Clyde) Oller of Warren, 8 grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren. Calling hours will be at the Newton Falls First Church of God on Tuesday February 3, 2015 from 10:00am - 12:00pm. The funeral will immediately follow at 12:00 pm with Rev. Arnold Edmondson officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Francis will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery.
