Frederick Albert Girsh Jr., age 64 of Niles, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday March 13, 2016 at St. Joseph's Eastland Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 10, 1952 in Warren, OH the son of the late Frederick A. & Doris (Reid) Girsh Sr. Fred grew up in Newton Falls and raised his family in Liberty, later moving to Niles in December of 2015. He graduated from Newton Falls High School in 1970 and worked as a truck driver for Trumbull Supply. Fred enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his grandkids. His grandkids were his life, and he did everything with them. Memories of Fred will be carried on by his loving family; his daughter & companion Catherine Girsh & (Michael Borodziuk); his daughter Stephanie Bentley all of Niles; and his 5 grandchildren: Sabryna Bentley, Alexis Cramer, Olivia Borodziuk, Michael Borodziuk, and Ryan Flowers. Fred is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Benjamin Girsh, and one sister Sally Girsh. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Monday March 21, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Calling hours will be held two hours prior to service time from 11:00am-1:00 pm.
