Gail Ann (Nemeth) Richter Lyden, age 86 formerly from Youngstown OH, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday morning May 12, 2024 at St. Joseph Eastland Hospital in Warren. She was born on April 28, 1938, in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of the late Stephen Nemeth and Lois Elizabeth (Inhaden) Nemeth. Gail has been a lifetime area resident, living in Youngstown, Lake Milton and most recently Warren. She also lived in Ithaca, NY, Columbus, OH, San Antonio, TX and even lived for a short time in Fenerbahce,Turkey. Gail is a graduate of North Jackson High School and San Antonio Business College. Gail retired from City Office and Art as an office worker and then later in life decided to enter the work force again for a short time and worked at Burger King before officially retiring and enjoying her time. Gail was of Christian faith and attended the Grace Cathedral in Cuyahoga Falls. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and shopping. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Stephen Nemeth, her grandparents, Louis Nemeth and Anna Lasso of Hungary and 2 sisters: Darlene and Gloria.
Gail is survived by her son; Charles "Skip" Richter III of Daggett, MI, 1 grandson: Bronson and her first husband: Charles E. Richter Jr. and her lifetime friend and caretaker, Melanie & Douglas Losey of Warren.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Newton Falls Cemetery on Monday May 20, 2024, at 11:00am with Rev. Steve Millar officiating.
