Gale Lynn Sanzenbacher, age 59 formerly of Cortland, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Antonine Village in North Jackson, OH. Gale was born on May 15, 1956 in Warren the daughter of Dale Gilson and Althea L. (McGee) Sanzenbacher. Gale was employed as a Parole Officer for the State of Ohio Department of Corrections for 12 years. Gale was a member of the First Community Church in Leavittsburg for many years, and is a past member of the Red Hat Society. She loved to water-ski, scuba dive, and ride her Sea-Doo. Loving memories of Gale will be carried on by her parents: Dale & Althea Sanzenbacher of Leavittsburg and several cousins. Gale was preceded in death by her sister, Gwen Sanzenbacher. Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at the First Community Church, 4640 West Market St. Leavittsburg, OH 44430 from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:30 am at the church with Pastor John Jaros officiating. Gale will be laid to rest beside her sister Gwen at Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.
