Gary Louis Bedenik, age 66 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. Gary was born on September 10, 1949 in Warren, the son of Louis N. & Louise G. (Radnothy) Bedenik. He has lived in Newton Falls his entire life. Gary was a veteran of the US Air Force. He retired in 2007 after 35 years as a tow motor driver for Packard Electric. Gary married the former Barbara J. Fetty on June 1, 1968. Gary & Barbara were blessed with 47 years of wonderful marriage. Gary was a member of the Newton Falls Masonic Lodge #462. He enjoyed all the Ohio sports teams, he had a passion for golf where he has had 2 hole-in-ones, but his greatest love and enjoyment came from spending time with his daughter Adrean and grandson Nicholas. Loving memories of Gary will be carried on by his wife, Barbara J. Bedenik of Newton Falls, daughter, Adrean Bedenik-Durst of Cortland, grandson, Nicholas Durst of Cortland, his mother, Louise Bedenik of Newton Falls, brother, Gregory (Dawn) Bedenik of Friendship, Maine and his cousin, Mark Fischer of Ann Arbor, MI. Gary was preceded in death by his father. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Masonic services will be prior to calling hours at 4:30 pm. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Rev. Calvin Mason will officiate. Gary will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery.
