George Nick Manovich, age 88 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 18, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side. George was born on July 25, 1927 in Export, PA the son of Nick & Mary (Martovich) Vuk Manovich. George married the love of his life, the former Donna McGuire, on July 10, 1948. George and Donna have been blessed with 67 wonderful years of marriage. They have lived in Newton Falls since 1956. George was employed in management for GM Terex Hudson for many years. George was a veteran of the US Navy serving in WWII. He was a member of the VFW in Newton Falls and attended the Newton Falls United Methodist Church. Memories of George will be carried on by his loving family; his wife Donna Manovich of Newton Falls; his son & daughter-in-law, George & Catherine Manovich of Tazewell, TN; his daughter & son-in-law, Janet & Gregory Pipenur of Newton Falls; grandchildren, Nicholas (Ashley) Manovich, Sara (Christopher) Baryak, George Pipenur, Stacie Garretson, Renee Pipenur, great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Manovich, Madison Baryak, Christopher Baryak, Colin O'Rourke, Garret Garretson, Chase Clonch, Caden Clonch, Jacob Tocco and unborn baby Manovich. George is preceeded in death by his parents, six sisters and one brother. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at James Funeral Home.
