Georgene Patricia DeBolt, age 76, of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 17, 2011at Trumbull Memorial Hospital of natural causes. On January 29, 1935 in Warren, George & Sue (Batcho) Hammond gave birth to their daughter, Georgene. Georgene married the love of her life, Lester Andrew DeBolt on August 13, 1955 and they enjoyed 48 years of marriage together before he passed away on June 18, 2004. She had lived in Newton Falls all her life, working as a secretary and librarian for the Newton Falls School System. Georgene was a member of the First Christian Church in Newton Falls, member of XI Delta Upsilon Sorority and a board member of Wolf Run Wildlife Preservation. She enjoyed bingo, bowling and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loving memories of Georgene will be carried on by her daughter, Leslie Wilson of Newton Falls; sons, Marc G. DeBolt, Drew K. DeBolt both of Newton Falls, Darren DeBolt of Fort Lauderdale, FL; her sisters and their husbands, Shelia & Frank Coleman of Marion, OH, Mary Ann & Walter Richmond of Monroe, NC; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and one brother. The family will greet friends and share fond memories of Georgene on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 2:00 - 4:00 at James Funeral Home.
