Geraldine L. Oreskovich, age 80 of Newton Falls, entered into eternal rest on Saturday October 9, 2010 at Allan Dell Assisted Living. Geraldine was born in Newton Falls on December 3, 1929, the daughter of Clifford & Ethel (Willis) Stanley. Geraldine grew up in Newton Falls and graduated from Newton Falls High School. She then moved to North Jackson in 1959. Geraldine married Donald (Al) Oreskovich on August 14, 1959. Geraldine and Al were married for 43 years before his passing on June 5, 2003. She was a former bank teller for Mahoning Bank. Geraldine was a member of the First Federated Church in North Jackson. She loved to play cards, shop and travel. Memories of Geraldine will be carried on by her daughter, Lynn Ann Oreskovich of WA, sons, Terry & Cindy Raeburn of Canfield, Tom & Nancy Raeburn of Rockwell, NC, Ronald Raeburn of Newton Falls, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by five sisters, Betty, Lib, Freda, Ann, Faye and two brothers, George and Bill. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at the First Federated Church where a memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Allan Dell Assisted Living, 2200 Milton Blvd., Newton Falls, OH 44444 in memory of Geraldine.
