Gervase (Jerry) A. Reeve III age 68 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Friday night Aug. 8, 2025 at his residence. He was born on April 25, 1957 in Ravenna, OH the son of Gervase A. Reeve II and Bernice Mary (Murray) Reeve.  Jerry had lived in Newton Falls for over 37 years formerly of Lake Milton where he graduated from Jackson Milton High School in the Class of 1975.  He married the love of his life, Victoria E. Renko on June 13, 1980 and they enjoyed 41 years of marriage together until her sudden death on Aug 2, 2021. Jerry worked as a  Construction Superintendent for Dot Construction in Canfield for 45 years retiring in 2020.  He loved to go camping, boating on the lake, watching NASCAR races & Cleveland Browns, his dogs, and especially loved spending time with his family. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Victoria, and 1 sister: Linda Morgason.

He is survived by: 1 son: Bud Reeve IV of Newton Falls, 2 daughters: Amanda Elliott of Lake Milton, Britney & Mark Allison of North Jackson, OH, 3 sisters: Donna Steele of Youngstown,, Debbie Thomas of Austintown, Kathy Riggs of Del Norte, CO, 1 brother: Kenny Reeve of Akron, OH, 4 grandchildren: Adriana, Alexis, Elizabeth, and Shawn.

Jerry's wish was to be cremated, and to have no services. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at Hawley Cemetery in Paris Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all donations please be made to the Ohio State Parks Foundation PO Box 403 Westerville, OH 43086 in his memory.
