Goldie Anthony, 89 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Laurie Ann Nursing Home. Goldie was born on March 1, 1925 in Hope, PA the daughter of George C. & Ethel (Coolie) Wilson.

Goldie had lived in Newton Falls since 1949 formerly of Philadelphia, PA. She had worked as a kitchen cook at Arby's in her earlier years.

Goldie was a member of the First Christian Church in Newton Falls. She belonged to the Newton Falls Rebekah Lodge #311. Goldie enjoyed reading, cooking, and crocheting.

Memories of Goldie will be carried on by her family; her son, Larry W. Anthony of Newton Falls, 2 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her special dear friend, Bernice Powell. Goldie was preceeded in death by her parents, her daughter, Deborah Kazimer, sister, Launa (Noonie) Ruch and her brother, Andrew P. Wilson.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 from 10:00 -11:00 am at the First Christian Church, 17 N. Center St., Newton Falls, OH 44444. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 am at the church. Rev. Calvin Mason will officiate. Goldie will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Christian Church in Goldie's memory.
