Gordon (Dale) Bowser, age 72, of Cortland passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his close family. He was born on July 6, 1944 in Clarksville, PA the son of the late Gordon C. Bowser and Corrine (Arnold) Bowser. He married the love of his life, Debbie May Nichols on June 7, 1997 and they enjoyed 19 years of marriage together. Dale had lived in Cortland for over 40 years owning and operating Bowser's Garage until he retired in 2016. He also worked as a bus mechanic for TCTC, Matthews Schools, Maplewood Schools for many years. His first job was working for Underwoods Towing when he was 13 years old. Dale was a hard worker. Dale was a member of the Cortland Moose Lodge #1012. He enjoyed going to the casino, working on old cars, watching drag racing, boating, camping, enjoying his pool and spending time with his family and friends. Dale spent every Saturday having breakfast with his buddies! Dale was always up for a good party. Memories of Dale will be carried on by his loving family; his wife Debbie Bowser of Cortland; his 3 daughters Darla & (Michael) Arnold of Leavittsburg, Deanne Iannacchione of Worcester, MA, Jennifer & (John) Stanhope of Kinsman; his 4 sisters Eloise Kudary of Warren, Ola & (Robert) Williams of Howland, Joyce & (Terry) Starcher of Howland, Cathy Fauvie of Kent; 2 brothers Keith & (Diana) Bowser of Champion, Duane & (Nancy) Bowser of Howland; his 5 granddaughters Shannon & (Carlos) Arnold Rivera of Gilbert, AZ, Alisionna Iannacchione of Worcester, MA, Madison Stanhope of Kinsman, Corinna Iannacchione of Worcester, MA, Melina Iannacchione of Worcester; MA, and his 2 great-grandchildren Alexis & Antonio Rivera of Gilbert, AZ. Dale is preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister Connie Jenkins. Per Dale's wishes, Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life in Dale's memory on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the Cortland Moose Lodge #1012, 6400 St. Rt. 46 Cortland, Ohio 44410.
