Harry Herbert Rook, Jr., age 68, of Warren passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at University Hospital Case Western Medical Center in Cleveland. He was born on April 8, 1945 in Youngstown , OH the son of the late Harry Herbert Rook Sr. and Ruth Louise (McFadden) Rook. Harry married Patty Ann Pauley on April 5, 1971 and they have enjoyed 42 years of wonderful marriage together. Harry was a veteran of the US Army serving faithfully during the Vietnam War. He worked as a steelworker at WCI in Warren for 32 years and retired in 2000. Harry was a member of the Lake Milton Fish & Game Club, he also coached little league and pony league Baseball in Newton Falls for many years, and he raised Rabbits, Pheasant, & Ducks. Harry loved to go hunting, fishing, and Cleveland Indians baseball. Harry is preceded in death by his parents. Memories of Harry will be carried on by his loving family of: his wife: Patty Ann Rook of Warren, 2 daughters: Valerie & Doug Sutton of Salem, OH, Kimberly Rook and her fiancée Jim Jeffries of Canton, OH, 2 sons: Harry (Pete) Rook of Lordstown, Jonathan Rook of Lordstown, 3 sisters, Joyce & Howard Moore of North Jackson, OH, Carol Rook, Judy Davis, 4 grandchildren: Jennah, Hayden, Jerrod, and Macalah, and 1 great grandchild. Calling hours will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Sunday October 20, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm and also from 11;00am - 1:00pm on Monday. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Monday October 21, 2013 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Steve Spurlock officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
