Harvey Davis Dean, age 87 of Paris Twp, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Friday night June 28, 2024 at University Hospital Portage Medical Center in Ravenna.  He was born on March 3, 1937 in Braxton Co, WV the son of the late Edward William Dean and Lucy May (Hall) Dean. Harvey married the love of his life, Laura Marie Spelman on Oct. 21, 1955 and they have enjoyed 67 years of marriage together. He served his country in the US Army from June 1954- March 1955.  He has lived in Paris Twp, since 1961, formerly of Windham, OH.   Harvey was the owner and founder of Dean's Fence in Paris Twp. for many years. He enjoyed farming, plantinting corn, and babysitting his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 son: Greg Dean.

He is survived by: his wife Laura M. Dean of Paris Twp, 2 daughters: Lenett & David Szczyrek of Southington, Martha & David Duncan of Paris Twp, 5 sons: Bart & Beverly Dean of Alliance, OH, Brett Dean of Paris Twp, Brian & Fran Dean of Alliance, OH, Billy Dean, 1 daughter in law: Vickie Dean of Paris Twp,  1 nephew: Curtis Dean of Paris Twp, 23 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, & 1 great-great grandchild.

A Graveside services for Harvey will be at the Hawley Cemetery in Paris Twp, OH on Friday July 5, 2024 at 1:00pm.  He will be honored with full military services by the Newton Falls Veterans Honor Guard.
