Helen Cobbs, age 95 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Laurie Ann Nursing Home in Newton Falls. She was borm on September 10, 1921 in Cleveland, OH the daughter of the late Anthony & Otyla (Porosta) Bill. Helen had lived in Rocky River, OH for many years before moving to Newton Falls to be closer to her daughter. Helen married the love of her life, LaVerne Cobbs on May 25, 1943. Helen and Laverne were bless with 42 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 1984. Helen had worked as a seamstress for Lampel's in Cleveland for many years. She enjoyed walking. Memories of Helen will be carried on by her loving family; her daughter, Sandra Kalmar of Ravenna and her son, Charles (Sharon) Cobbs of Cumming, GA. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Lakewood Park Cemetery in Rocky River, OH.
