Helen Irene Crowder, age 84, of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal life at EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria, OH on Friday, June 10, 2016. She was born on March 23, 1932, in Dennison, OH the daughter of the late George Warren Henary & Hazel Irene (Sproul) Henary. Helen married the love of her life, John E. Crowder on January 20, 1952 and they enjoyed 61 years of marriage together before John passed away on October 31, 2013. They had lived all their married life in Newton Falls. She worked as a book keeper for Althouse Buick in Newton Falls & Rudy Sims Buick in Warren. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Warren for many years. Helen loved spending time with her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. Memories of Helen will be carried on by her loving family; her daughter & son-in-law Ann & Quade Kotter of Clearfield, UT; her sons & daughter-in-laws George & Vickie Crowder of Layton, UT, John & Amie Crowder of Newton Falls; her sister & brother-in-law Darlene & James Naylor of Newton Falls; her grandchildren Rocky Kotter, Jessica Welsh, John (JJ), Josh, John III, & Jarred Crowder, Alysha Major, Kaylin Williams & Kelsie Sulzener, and 13 great grandchildren. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, and 2 sisters: Lenora Whittaker & Betty Corbett. Calling hours will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Tuesday June 14, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday June 15, 2016 at 11:00am. Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband John at Newton Falls Cemetery.
