Helen Jacob, age 90 of Newton Falls, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Autumn Hills Care Center. Helen was born in Trotter, PA on August 3, 1927, the daughter of Joseph & Nellie (Kaszak) Soho. She moved to Newton Falls in 1937 from PA.

Helen married Andrew Jacob Jr. on August 26, 1961. Helen and Andrew were blessed with 47 wonderful years of marriage until his passing on September 30, 2008.

Helen was employed as a bookkeeper with General Electric. Helen was a member of St. Mary & Joseph Church in Newton Falls and loved antiques.

Helen is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Anna Marie & Phil Pizzola of Struthers and her nieces; Dorothy (John) DiPiero of Niles, Jacquelyn (Sam) Kanaan of Liberty, nephews; David (Jane) Hrenko, Ken (Monica) Hrenko and Chuck Hrenko all of Newton Falls. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters; Catherine Hrenko, Mary Soho, Sofia Revezzo and brothers; Raymond, Frank, John, and Walter Soho.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at James Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am funeral mass at St. Mary & St. Joseph Church, 131 Quarry St. West, Newton Falls, OH 44444. Helen will be entombed next to her husband, Andy at Pineview Memorial Park.
