Howard Arthur Yeager Sr., age 81 of Newton Falls passed away July 4, 2011 at The Windsor House in Champion. On March 9, 1930 in Lake Milton, Arthur & Minnie (Miller) Yeager were blessed with the birth of their son, Howard. He has lived in Newton Falls since 1959, formerly of North Jackson. On January 5, 1953, Howard married the former Dolores Lanterman. They were blessed to be married 58 years. Howard retired as a truck driver from Set Products in Streetsboro and as a bus driver with the Newton Falls School District. He had also previously worked in the polish department at Rockwell International until 1976. Howard attended the First Church of God in Newton Falls where he drove the church bus. Howard enjoyed farming. Wonderful and loving memories of Howard will be carried on by his wife, Dolores Yeager of Newton Falls, daughters, Jeanette Sickle of Newton Falls, Theresa (Roger) Fox of Panama City, FL, Barbara Yeager of Ravenna, son, Howard (Betty) Yeager Jr. of Newton Falls, sisters, Myrtle Slough of Berlin Center, Harriet (Gary) Snyder of Kinsman, 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. The funeral will be held on Friday at the First Church of God at 11:00 am. Rev. Arnold Edmondson will be officiating. Howard will be laid to rest in Lutheran Cemetery. The family requests that contibutions may be made to The First Church of God, 426 W.
