Irma Dorothy (Hevitan) Fronius, age 105, formerly of Cleveland passed away peacefully at 12:20 pm on Monday July 2, 2012 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. She was born on Sept. 24, 1906 in Cleveland, OH the daughter of the late Julius and Julia (Marcinko) Hevitan. Irma married the love of her life, Alexander Fronius in 1923 and they enjoyed 62 years of marriage together before he passed away on Nov. 3, 1985. She has lived in Cleveland her whole life until recently moving to Windham with her great niece to help take care of her. Irma is a faithful member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Windham. She was also member of the Hungarian Singing Society. In her free time, Irma enjoyed watching T.V., reading, singing, and sewing. Loving memories of Irma will be carried on by her family; 2 nieces Julia & Tom Douglas of Windham, Phyllis Wagner of Cleveland; 3 nephews Donald Hevitan of Brunswick, Nelson & Laura Pruett, and Andrew & Karen Pruett Sr. all of Cleveland and also her great nieces and nephews, Hope & Robert Bradshaw, Crystal Esposito, Fletcher & Cassie Gilbert, John Gilbert, Holly & John Rivera, Richard Pruett, Matt & Kristen Pruett, Kim & Diane Wagner, and Samantha Esposito, Cassandra & Winter Torres, Julia Hevitan, Patricia McConville, Mark, Shyanna & Kindra Gilbert, John, Cam & Lexi Gilbert. Irma is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alex, 1 sister Ethel Habel, and 2 brothers Charles & Julius Hevitan. The family will receive friends for calling hours three hours prior to service time from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday July 7, 2012 at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm. Irma will be laid to rest next to her husband Alex in Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.
