James E. Bodnar, age 64 of Newton Falls died unexpectedly in the emergency room at Trumbull Memorial Hospital on Sunday May 16, 2010. James was born in Warren on July 29, 1945, the son of John & Irene (Fetcho) Bodnar. James has lived in Newton Falls his entire life. James married the former Susanne Marie Benish on August 14, 1970, recently celebrating 39 years of marriage. James was a retired steelworker employed at Copperweld Steel. He was a member of the Northeast Christian Church in Warren. James enjoyed gardening, Nascar, old cars and Cushman scooters. Memories of James will be carried on by his wife, Susanne Bodnar of Newton Falls, his son, Thomas Bodnar of Newton Falls. sisters, Sandra Toth of Mineral Ridge, Karen & Paul McBride of Warren and brother, Robert & Jenny Bodnar of Newton Falls. Private funeral services have been held. James will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery.
