James Ward Butler Sr., age 86 of Lake Milton entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 1, 2016 at Laurie Ann Rehabilitation Center. James was born in Niles, OH on January 3, 1929, the son of Miles G. Sr. & Elizabeth (Kaye) Butler. James has lived in Lake Milton since 1962, formerly of Niles. James married the former Patricia Ann Casey on August 11, 1962. James and Patricia were blessed with 52 years of wonderful marriage before her passing on March 31, 2015. James worked and retired from Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 396 in Youngstown, OH. James was a 60 year member of the William Farr Lodge #672 F&AM, past Grand Knight - Knights of Malta, Sons of American Legion Post 737, social member of Amvets Post 112, member of the Ben Lin Club in Niles, and past president of the Lake Milton Improvement Association. He enjoyed fishing, yardwork, Nascar racing and wintering in Florida. Loving memories of James will be carried on by his daughters, Charlotte Cervone of Girard, Susan Butler-Rossi of Warren, sons, James W. Jr. (Michele) Butler of Lake Milton, Todd (Sunshine) Butler of Berlin Center, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a sister in law, Dorothy L. Casey. James was preceeded in death by his parents, his wife, Patricia, son, Robert J. Butler, brothers, Miles Butler Jr. and Richard I. Butler. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2015 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Masonic services will be held at 6:00 pm prior to calling hours. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am with family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. James will be laid to rest next to his wife, Patricia at Niles City Cemetery.
