James M. Morrison (Pop Pop)  age 51 of Newton Falls passed away suddenly on Monday Aug. 5, 2024 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.  He was born on Aug.18, 1972 in Warren, OH the son of the late Adrain Ray Morrison and Ruth Marie (Deel) Morrison.  James has lived in Newton Falls his entire life and attended Newton Falls High School.  He married the love of his life, Tonya M. Cumberledge on Dec. 10, 1999 and they have enjoyed the past 24 years of marriage together.  James last worked as a machine operator at Great Lakes Cheese in Middlefield for 10 years, and has been disabled since 2011.  He loved fishing, camping, shooting pool, watching the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Lakers, and Ohio State Buckeyes Football. James was fascinated with the paranormal and he enjoyed watching shows related to aliens and cryptids. James is preceded in death by his parents.

James is survived by: his wife: Tonya M. Morrison of Newton Falls, 1 daughter: Sabrina Morrison & her fiancéé Brenden Clifford of Newton Falls, 1 sister: Diane Masaitis of Southington, OH, and 1 granddaughter: Winona (Tinky) Clifford.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services.
