James Clair Warren, age 81 of Ravenna passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Woodlands at Robinson of natural causes. James was born on December 30, 1929 in Waynesboro, PA the son of the late Raymond Omar Warren & Ruth Ann (Hurdey) Warren. James worked as a carpenter/machinist for American Welding in Warren, and previously working for Perm Co. in Streetsboro. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Korean War, and a member of Nelson United Methodist Church. James graduated from Windham High School in 1948. He enjoyed listening to country music, riding his Honda Gold Wing, being outside, watching baseball, football, fishing, wood working and building doll houses. Memories of James will be carried on by his loving family; his wife Jeanine Warren of Ravenna, his daughter and her husband, Jackie & David Wanstreet of Lake Milton; his sons and their wives, James & Charlene Warren of Bucyrus, Jeffrey & Carol Warren of Garrettsville; his sister, Norma McCullough of Garrettsville, his grandchildren: Amanda, Elizabeth, Keven, Andrew, Jennifer, Thomas, Kellie, Jeffrey, Joseph, Alyssa, John, Brian, Amy, and 25 great grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Richard Lee Warren. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Nelson United Methodist Church, 9367 St. Rt. 305, Garrettsville, OH 44231 at Nelson Circle. Funeral services will also be held at the church on Thursday at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Rick Hughes will officiate.
