Jane D. Kennedy, age 90 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Jane was born in Girard on June 1, 1922, the daughter of the late Edward & Mabel (Alexander) Davis. She has lived in Newton Falls most of her life. Jane retired in 1986 after 30 years as a laborer/inspector at Packard Electric. She was a member of the Second Christian Church in Warren and IUE Local 717 where she was a union counselor. Jane enjoyed traveling and taking bus tours all over the United States. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, crossword puzzles and she was an avid reader. Loving memories of Jane will be carried on by her son & daughter-in-law, Edward & Jeanette Kennedy of Warren. Jane was preceeded in death by two brothers, Edward & Harry Davis and her half-sister, Lillian McCarthy. Per Jane's wishes there are no calling hours or services. Cremation has taken place.
