Janice Shaver, age 82, of Warren passed away peacefully into eternal life on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on March 21, 1936 in Mcnary, AZ, the daughter of the late Howard Flanagan Sr. & Vera (Warren) Flanagan -Watts.

Janice married the love of her life, Leroy Shaver Sr. on April 30, 1960 and they have enjoyed 58 years of marriage together. She graduated from TW Daniel High School in 1956. Then she attended the AM&N College in Arkansas and received her Business Degree. Janice had lived in Warren since 1964 formerly of Crossett, AR and was a wonderful wife and mother.

She was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ in Warren. Janice enjoyed playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles, watching soaps on TV, crocheting, and publishers clearing house.

Memories of Janice will be carried on by her loving family; her husband Leroy of Warren; her 3 daughters Joanna Shaver-Beyah, Shonta Turner both of Warren, Michelle Stuckey of Cleveland; her 2 sons Leroy Shaver Jr.,& Shawn (Lalea) Stroud all of Warren; 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.  Janice is preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, and 3 brothers.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all donations go to either: Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market Street Youngstown, OH, and Lake Vista 303 North Mecca St. Rt. 46 Cortland, OH 44410 in memory of Janice Shaver.

Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at the Restoration Christian Fellowship 760 Main Street Warren, OH. The Funeral Services will immediately follow at 12:00PM at the church, Pastor Joe Walker will be officiating. Janice will be laid to rest in Braceville Cemetery.
