Jason Robert Chicko, age 33 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Saturday July 3, 2010 at his residence. Jason was born in Warren on December 14, 1976, the son of John C. & Diana L. (Weekley) Chicko Sr. He has lived in Newton Falls his entire life. Jason was a fireman with the Newton Falls Fire Department for the past 5 years. He was a US Army veteran and a member of St. Joseph's Church in Newton Falls. Jason enjoyed the guitar, hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with his son, Anthony (Tony) J. Chicko of Newton Falls who survives. Memories of Jason will also be carried on by his parents, John & Diana Chicko Sr. of Newton Falls, brother, Joshua J. Chicko of New York, NY, paternal grandfather, John J. Chicko of Newton Falls and maternal grandfather, Keith Weekley of Newton Falls. Jason was preceeded in death by two brothers, John C. Chicko Jr. & Justin J. Chicko, grandmothers, Ellen Weekley, Betty Chicko and Mary Chicko. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday July 7, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00 am at James Funeral Home and 10:30 am at St. Joseph's Church. Father Matthew Mankowski will be officiating. Jason will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family would like friends to know that if they want to make contributions they may be made to the Newton Falls Fireman's Association.
