Jean Spell, age 86 of Newton Falls, passed away into eternal life on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital of natural causes. Jean was born on September 17, 1930 in Petersburg, Ohio, the daughter of the late Rollo & Elizabeth (Klit) Leippley. Jean had lived in the Newton Falls area, formerly of Warren. She married the love of her life, Henry E. Spell Sr. on January 21, 1967 and he passed away after 42 years of marriage on October 8, 2009. Jean was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, drinking coffee and working around the house. Memories of Jean will be carried on by her loving family; her 2 sons William Adam Spell of Alliance, Henry (fiance, Shannon Henricks) Spell Jr. of Alliance; sister Betty Zigler of Newton Falls and two granddaughters, Maggie Spell and Alexa Trautwein. Jean is preceeded in death by brothers, Glen, Bill, Robert, Webster and sisters, Virginia Sidener and Dorothy Leippley. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls from 7 to 9PM. Calling hours will also be held 1 hour prior to service time from 10 to 11AM at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 , the funeral service will immediately follow at 11AM.
