Jim Franklin Zuver, age 59, of Warren was surrounded by his loving family when passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at University Hospital of Cleveland. He was born on Jan. 1 , 1957 in Akron, Ohio, the son of Jimmy Franklin Zuver & Carolyn J. (Lundgren) Zuver-Durbin. Jim married the love of his life, Cynthia L. Arnold on April 3, 1993 and they enjoyed 22 years of marriage together. Jim worked as an IT Specialist for Summit Racing in Tallmadge, OH for the past 5 years. He has lived in Warren for the past 22 years, formerly of Akron, OH. Jim enjoyed computer gaming, watching movies, collecting military memorabilia, shooting, and reloading his own ammunition. Jim loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson Dominic, and his cat "Daisy". Jim is survived by: his wife: Cynthia L. Zuver of Warren Twp, 1 step-son: Bret & Janelle Furbee of Leavittsburg; his mother & stepfather: Carolyn & Ron Durbin of Akron, OH, 6 sisters: Vicki & Ron Modedesitt of Walker, WV, April & Dana Marshall of Akron, OH, Deborah & Terry Barrett of Akron, OH, Sherri & Mark Thomas of Canton, OH, Sandra Nickey of Canton, OH, Carolyn & Ron Rue of Canton, OH, 1 half brother: Scott Durbin of Uniontown, OH, 2 half sisters: Chris Ellis of Shreve, OH, Tracy Boyd of Cypress, TX, and his beloved grandson Dominic Furbee. Jim is preceded in death by his father Jimmy F. Zuver. Per Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services held. Burial will be at a later date.
