John Conaway, age 61, of Mineral Ridge passed away into eternal life on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic of natural causes. On February 2, 1953 in Riverside, NJ, Robert & Dorothy (Zycinski) Conaway were blessed with the birth of their son, John. John had lived in Mineral Ridge for the past 16 years formerly of Newton Falls. He worked as a tow motor driver for General Motors for many years before retiring in 2008. John was a veteran of the US Marine Corp, and a life member of the Amvets in Newton Falls. He enjoyed golfing, baseball, football, shooting, fishing and being with his grandchildren. Memories of John will be carried on by his loving family; his son & daughter-in-law Kris & Danielle Conaway of Mineral Ridge; his sister Dorothy Paulucci of New Jersey; and his grandchildren, Kadence & Cannon. John is preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 5:00 pm at the Veteran's Memorial Gazebo in Newton Falls.
