John Kolovich Jr. age 85 of Newton Falls passed away into eternal life at 8:15pm Friday Oct. 8, 2010 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital with his loving family by his side. John was born on March 12, 1925 in Newton Falls the son of John and Barbara (Blazik) Kolovich Sr. He went to school at Paris Schools. John married his loving wife Donna Kovacic on November 14, 1944 and they enjoyed 63 years of marriage together before she passed away on July 29, 2008. He was a faithful member of St. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Newton Falls. John worked at Rockwell International for 30 years retiring in 1976. He then worked for Bliss Manufacturing and later at the Trumbull County Joint Vocational School as custodian. John also loved gardening and cooking. Memories of John will be carried on by his loving and caring family: Sons and daughters in law, John and Edith Kolovich III, and Richard and Laura Kolovich all of Newton Falls. His grandson, Kevin Kolovich of Newton Falls, grandson and his wife Mike & Gretchen Kolovich of Champion; granddaughter, Jaclyn Kolovich, granddaughter and her husband, Marie & Tom Addison, great grandsons, Christian & Marcus Addison all of Newton Falls and Andrew Kolovich of Champion, great grandaughter, Anissa Carter of Newton Fallsand his brother, Louis Kolovich of Champion. John was also preceded in death by his parents, his son Eugene, daughter Mary Jane Kolovich, great grandson,Bret Addison, sister, Helen Kolovich and two brothers, William & Frank Kolovich. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. A prayer service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday October 13, 2010 at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday at the St. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church with Father Matthew Mankowski as the celebrant. John will be laid to rest beside his wife Donna at St. Joseph Cemetery in Paris Twp.
