John Patrick Kennedy Sr. age 76 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Monday, Jan. 1, 2024 at St. Joseph Eastland Hospital in Warren. He was born on October 25, 1947 in Richwood, WV, the son of the late Harry Franklin Kennedy & Susanna (Davis) Kennedy.  John married the love of his life, Sandra J. Showers on November 1, 1980 and they enjoyed 43 years of marriage together. John deeply loved his family and his pets.  He was an avid fisherman and could often be found fishing, tying flies, and painting lures with his best friend Steve Deneen.   John worked for Bilmar Foods in Garrettsville, and Ravenna Aluminum in Ravenna for many years.  John is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife: Sandra J. Kennedy of Newton Falls; his 2 daughters Patricia Kennedy of Warren Twp; Robin Wilson and her fiancé Mike Rozycki of Chicago, IL; his son John Kennedy II & his wife Rebecca Kennedy of Girard, two sisters, Patricia Workman of Newton Falls and Marcella Wilson of Summersville, WV; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Per John's wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services will be held.
