John R. Runion age 60 of Craig Beach passed away suddenly at his residence on Wednesday Feb. 4, 2026. He was born on Jan 19, 1966 in Fairmont, WV the son of the late Robert Lee Runion and Catherine Ratie (Harris) Runion. John lived in Lake Milton for the last 14 years formerly of Leavittsburg. John was with his lovely fiancé, Jamie R. Franks for the last 18 years and were the best of friends. They settled down together in Craig Beach Village at their lake house and were very happy together. John worked as a Fuel Truck Driver for Kenan Advantage Group for the last 10 years. He also worked for Ravenna Aluminum in Ravenna for 18 years. John loved woodworking, cooking, restoring old cars & trucks, riding his Harley, was a jack of all trades, and loved to be free. He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert & Catherine Runion.

John is survived by: his fiancé: Jamie R. Franks of Craig Beach, 1 son: Josh & Carl Martin of Lake Milton, 1 daughter: Jenna Runion of Ravenna, 2 sisters: Missy Runion of Warren, Zelma Runion of Warren, 2 brothers: Archie Runion of Newton Falls, Bobby Jo Runion of Warren, 2 step sons: Walter W. Franks Jr. of Alliance, OH, Billy & Mila Franks of Poulsbo, WA and 6 grandchildren: Jocelynn, Carson, Jessica, Caitlinn, Brody and Leah.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services. John would want everyone to remember all the good times, and help those that are grieving. He was a soft spoken man and always cared about someone's feelings.
