John A. Snider, age 77, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025. John was born February 16, 1948 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio. He was a 1966 graduate of Lakeview High School. He worked for 35 years at Delphi Packard Electric. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery and was a long time Apiarist (beekeeper) and advocated for the preservation of bees. He was a generous friend and mentor to the beekeeping community of Ohio.

John was preceded in death by both his parents, Robert and Isabella Snider.

John is survived by his two sisters, Debbie (Ron) Morris of Ohio and Lori (David) Jenkins of Virginia, his three sons; Robert Snider of VA, Richard Snider of FL, and Craig Snider of OH, and his longtime girlfriend Sharon Christ. He was the beloved grandfather of five grandchildren. He was friends and mentor to many in the local community.

A graveside service will be held at Champion Township Cemetery Chapel on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 11:00am. John has requested a celebration of life be held in is honor May 10th, 2025, at his favorite restaurant "StoneBridge" located at 1497 Boardman-Canfield Rd, Boardman, Ohio 44512. This event will begin at 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Please attend to share your favorite memories of John. Food and beverages will be provided.
