Joseph Christopher Nelms, age 28, of Newton Falls passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016, at his residence. He was born on December 26, 1987 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Joseph A. Nelms & Tina Marie (Zimmerman) Male. Joseph had lived in Newton Falls for the past 3 years, formerly of Cleveland. He enjoyed watching TV, especially "The Price is Right" & "Let's Make a Deal." He also enjoyed bonfires and cooking outdoors. Memories of Joseph will be carried on by his family; his mother Tina Male of Newton Falls, his father Joseph A. Nelms of Powhatan Point, his daughter Brooke Lynn Nelms of Schenectady, NY; his son Aiden Nelms of Schenectady, NY; his sisters Monecia Nelms of Baltimore, MD, Ericia Hunter & Mallory Nelms both of Powhatan Point, his brothers David Case of Sarasota, FL, Donavin Case of Dallas, TX, Brandon Kamenos of Cleveland, and Travis (Violet) Gant of Cleveland. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm.
